Welcome to Angus Canoe Club.
We have been actively paddling as a club since January 2003, having been initially formed by a group of like minded paddlers under an initiative by the then Angus Council Community Education Department, in the guise of Steve Scott.
We remain an active club 20 years later, with members ranging from complete beginner to those with over 40 years experience. In the main, we undertake white water kayaking and canoeing, although many of our members also sea kayak and have SUPs.
During the summer months we run monthly club paddles, in addition to weekly paddling sessions aimed to increase skill and confidence on the water. Over the winter, we have use of an indoor pool which provides opportunties to hone paddle skills, learn to roll, or just for a social float around.
Our core paddlers often organise peer paddles and are always happy to have others to go adventuring with.
Interested in getting involved? We would love to hear from both new and established paddlers - email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about joining.
